5.4-magnitude quake hits 239 km SW of George Town, Cayman Islands: USGS

NEW YORK, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted 239 km SW of George Town, Cayman Islands at 20:08:37 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.57 degrees north latitude and 82.75 degrees west longitude.
