Kaizer Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt did not shy away from criticising Zambian star Lazarous Kambole for his poor performances in Amakhosi colours.
The Glamour Boys were held to a goalless draw against Horoya AC in their opening CAF Champions League Group A clash on Tuesday evening.
Kambole was brought on in the second half for fellow striker Leonardo Castro as Hunt pushed for a goal.
However, while speaking to the media after the match, Hunt urged Kambole to change his attitude and work harder as the 27-year-old put in yet another underwhelming performance.
"For me, he has got to do better. I don't see enough in training. Comes on tonight, he's got to do better. He gets 15/20 minutes and I wanted to start him," Hunt said.
"I think he can do a little bit more without the ball as well. He comes from a different country with a different mentality.
"His got to work harder here. I like him there's no problem with him, but we need a little bit more with him being a foreign player."
It was a match in which Amakhosi could easily have won if they were more clinical in front of goal.
However, it was not meant to be as Hunt's charges had to settle for a point before travelling to take on Wydad Casablanca on Sunday.
Kick-off is at 18:00 (SA time).
